 The human body has 5 major organs senses include eyes for sight, ears for sound, nose for smell, tongue  for taste, and skin for touch. The function of each sense is to help humans perceive the world so that we may make decisions about what is happening and what is needed in a situation.

What need to do to keep your eyes healthy.

  1. Eat foods rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids, e.g.  leafy greens, vegetables & fruits, fish.
  2. Get enough sleep to keep your eyes lubricated.
  3. Minimize eye-straining and keep sugar levels under control
  4. Consult your doctor if you persistently experience vision complications
  5. Never touch your eyes with dirty hands.

What need to do to keep your ears healthy.

  1.  Protect your ears from loud noises. Use earplugs, avoid listening to loud music, and keep the television volume low.
  2. Maintain a healthy weight and manage your blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
  3. Regular meditation, Play cards, Light music 
  4.  If you experience any problem in hearing, consult an ENT specialist at the earliest.

What need to do to keep your tongue & nose healthy

  1. Excessive salt can affect your taste buds. It can even cause high blood pressure. Try having salt in moderation
  2. Maintain good oral hygiene.
  3. Don’t stick to a particular food or diet. Try different cuisines once in a while

  1. Stay physically active to maintain healthy blood circulation
  2. Have nutrient-dense meals
  3. Clean your skin thoroughly
