Immunity– Immunity, the body's first line of defense mechanism against illness. So, to remain stronger and healthy body, you need stronger immunity system as it protects the human body from outside diseases, virus, infections. The immune system is made up of different organs, cells, and proteins that work together to keep you healthy and fit. There are many ways to improve body's immunity and here, some of the important ways are mentioned through which one can improve the immunity of his/her body.

 So to have stronger immunity or to boost your immunity system, follow the points.

  1. Always maintain a healthy diet as your diet should include oranges, grapefruit, apples, pears, turmeric, Oily fish, Broccoli, Sweet potatoes, Spinach, Ginger.
  2. Do regular exercise, keep your body hydrated.
  3. Do regular yoga and meditation.
  4. Good sleep atleast 6-7 hrs a day, minimize stress and immunity as all are closely tied.
  5. Stay upto date on recommended vaccines.
  6. Take proper vitamins especially vitamin -c and minerals needed for the body.
  7. Maintain a healthy weight.
  8. Quit smoking, avoid alcohol.
  9. Always keep your gut healthy as it almost 80% of your immune system is in your gut.
  10. Eat healthy fats, probiotic supplement, limit added sugars.
  11. Always be positive, happy, stressfree and keep positive thinking.
  12. Test to check immunity- antibody or serology test through blood test.

  • Smoking, alcohol, unbalanced diet, infections & virus in body, 
  • Having cold all the time
  • You suffer from frequent infections
  • Your wounds are slow to get heal
  • If you frequently suffer from stomach aches and upsets.
  • Processed food so better to avoid them
  • Deep fried, salty, frozen fast, food additives so avoid to have them.

Always have vitamin-C and citrus rich fruits such as oranges, kiwi, lemon, grapefruit, limes.

Eat more leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, collard greens, lettuce, chard.

Also, to have better immunity, there is recommended daily amount of vitamin -C such as 75mg for women and 90mg for men for continued stronger immunity.
